Assessment Extensions
Students may be granted extensions of up to two weeks (10 working days) to accommodate unforeseen circumstances, where the student's capacity to complete required work by the due date has been affected by significant factors beyond their control.
Request for an Extension forms are available from level 2 of the Asia Institute and the Asia Institute website. These forms should be filled in and given to the subject coordinator before the submission date. Penalties apply to all work submitted late without an approved extension.
Students granted an extension who experience continued circumstances which prevent them submitting assessment by the revised due date, must apply for Special Consideration to their student centre within three days of the revised due date.
